One of the earliest funky disco collections, Spaced Out still stands as one of the strongest. Focusing on atmospheric dance jams, Spaced Out contains ten songs that are among the heaviest of their ilk. There are well-known cuts ("Dancing In Outerspace" by Atmosfear, El Coco's "Cocomotion," "Go Bang" by Dinosaur L) but also some cult items that really make this a complete package. Songs like "Mi Sabrina Tequana" by Ingram and Francine McKee's "Feelin' Good" received some much-needed exposure via this compilation and are now rightly considered classics.
