The team of Cecil and Linda Womack come from soul music royalty: Cecil is Bobby Womack's brother and Linda is Sam Cooke's daughter. They wrote "Love TKO" for Teddy Pendergrass before embarking on their own career in the 1980s. "Baby I'm Scared Of You" is one of the most sublime club pieces you're likely to hear. "Missing Person's Bureau" was another understated club track that had a Frankie Knuckles remix. They continued to release albums into the 1990s but none have reached the same level of success.
