Jamie Principle had a nice run of club hits in the late 1980s as the premier male house vocalist until Robert Owens emerged to challenge his position. Working with Frankie Knuckles, their partnership resulted in the classics "Baby Wants to Ride," "Cold World," and "Your Love." These were among the earliest and most successful house records and they are remixed and sampled to this day. "Hot Body" was the center of the Midnight Hour album, the last I heard of him.
