This faceless studio aggregation was one of Motown's few forays into disco. Created by Michael L. Smith, players on their sole album, Space Dance, included Jermaine Jackson, David T. Walker, Lee Ritenour, Dave Garibaldi (ex-Tower of Power) and Roland Bautista (Earth, Wind and Fire). Best known for the funky "Bad Mouthin'," "Rich Love, Poor Love" and "Space Dance," the album's obscurity has made it popular with collectors and producers looking for samples.
