Made in the USA scored with "Melodies," an unusually spritely number for De-Lite Records. The track starts off like an imitation Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band, but the intensity gradually rises until, by the time the break arrives, you're hearing a disco classic. Freida Narangis, the organizational force behind Crown Heights Affair, assembed the band and wrote most of their material but couldn't hit beyond "Melodies." They broke up soon after.

Their only album is the culmination of a 2 year woodshedding period with an eye towards live performance. A shame that they disbanded so quickly because on the basis of the title jam, they could have developed into quite an act.
