Love Comittee is knows for a couple of obscure disco hits. They were originally known as the Ethics, a traditional vocal group, in the pre-disco days. When they adopted a disco sound, they changed their name. A record for Ariola preceded a move to Salsoul's Gold Mind subsidiary, where they made their most popular songs, "Just As Long As I've Got You" and "Law and Order." Lead vocalist Ron Tyson joined the Temptations in 1983.
