Somebody's Watching You

Little Sister was a short-lived and mysterious spin-off of Sly and the Family Stone consisting of Sly's sister Vanetta Stewart, Elva Melton and Mary Rand. Sly meant for Little Sister to be the first major act from his Stone Flower label, and they got off to a great start with their first two singles hitting the top 10.  But it seems they were too reliant on Sly for musical ideas to sustain their own identity, and as he became more consumed with his personal problems they quickly sank from sight without even recording a full-length LP.  Regardless, "You're the One" and "Somebody's Watching You" have attained classic status and are highly sought after by rare groovers and Sly fanatics.
