Sun Sun Sun

This mysterious disco group was organized by producer/songwriter Johnny Melfi.  They are fondly remembered for "Sun Sun Sun," one of the wierder songs of the early disco era.  Despite being the victim of one of the worst editing jobs committed to tape,  the song was a compelling listen, taking people on a musical journey that made it a sensation in clubs.  Jocks like Larry Levan put their support behind the song, ensuring its success.  Their second and final record was "You Are the Star," one of the first singles on West End.  "Sun Sun Sun" is featured on the Larry Levan Live at the Paradise Garage mix.
