Glenn Jones is one of many artists who had their first mainstream exposure via collaborations with Norman Connors, singing on the 1980 Take It To The Limit album. ?> Jones was able to parlay the success of singles like “Melancholy Fire” into a solo deal with RCA in 1983. That year, he released the mini-lp Everybody Loves A Winner that included the very popular “I Am Somebody.”

contact, Jones was a consistent presence on the charts thanks to tunes
