There seemed to be an epidemic of white cats who wanted to funkify their sound in the early 70s, and Ballin' Jack is a classic example of one such group. Perhaps they put a little too much groove in their music, as pop radio ignored their albums. They would have their revenge when Young MC's "Bust A Move" made their "Find A Child" a cult collectable, which led to the discovery of "Never Let Em Say" and "Time To Relax."
