Stand Up, Sit Down

AKB was the studio disco project of Philadelphia musician/producers Andy Kahn and Kurt Borusiewicz.  The duo is best known for producing "Hot Shot" for Karen Young.

Rhythmic Feet is your typical late-seventies orchestral disco album, with dozens of musicians backing anonymous vocalists. The standout number is "Stand Up, Sit Down," which was a club favorite in 1979.  The disco crash later that year apparently claimed Kahn and Borusiewicz among its victims because they don't appear to have recorded anything else.
